What is Genetic Counselling?
Genetic counselling is a service designed to help you gain a greater understanding about your family history and cancer. Having a family history of prostate cancer and some other specific types of cancer may increase your risk to develop prostate cancer. Through genetic counselling you can receive a personal assessment of this risk and learn about options for early detection and prevention.
